How it all started
Dura-Bump was founded in 2010 to address the current shortfalls in road safety in South Africa.
Tried and tested, our traffic calming measures have become the go-to products in the traffic safety industry for speed control and community safety.

Co-Founder
An entrepreneur and problem solver by spirit, Konrad started Dura-Bump putting people and communities first.
Throughout the decade as the business has grown, one product expanded into a whole product and service suite where he strives to empower people and improve communities across Africa.
He is highly valued by peers and clients for his people skills, hands-on approach, respect and integrity. The goal of UpThe Road operations is to keep members of communities road safe and to uplift, share skills and create job opportunities to give back to the communities where we live.
